The Father McKenna Center works on two levels:

  • Working to meet the immediate needs of the people who seek our assistance; and,
  • Working with our guests to develop strategies to assist them to overcome the problems they face that prevent them from reaching their full potential.

The Center provides an environment of safety, stability and support for those who struggle with homelessness or are at-risk for becoming homeless. We offer food for the hungry, clothing for those who need it, shelter for those without a roof over their heads. But more importantly the Father McKenna Center is really offering hope and a path to reclaiming life for those who seek our assistance.

The Center offers four programs:

Day Shelter Program

Hypothermia Program

Food Pantry Program

Immersion Service Learning Program
